Purchasing a pair of eyeglasses can be an intimidating experience for many people, even though over 50% of all Americans use some type of prescription eyewear. Our office offers an array of frames and eyeglass lenses to meet individual vision requirements. The goal of providing the following information is to educate our patients on eyeglasses and the buying experience so they will make the decisions best suited to them.
- High Index Lenses that are thinner and lighter than ordinary lenses. High Index lenses provide better optics than traditional plastic lenses and are a great option for individuals with moderate to excessive nearsightedness or farsightedness.

- Transitions ® Lenses that are clear indoors, but darken automatically when you go outdoors
- Trivex Lenses are our first choice for children because of their impact resistance and lightweight nature. Polycarbonate lenses are also available

- Anti-Reflective Coating that minimizes the visual discomfort and glare associated with computer use and night-time driving. Anti-reflective coating also improves the appearance of your lenses by minimizing the glare that other people see when they look at you and in photographs
- Polarized Lenses that reduce glare and provide protection from harmful UV rays are excellent for bright summer days as well as minimizing the visual strain from sources such as the road, automobiles, water, and snow
